Accessibility

The new Constellation website was developed to offer accessibility and improved navigability to its visitors.

The website content has been adapted to make it clearer and more practical, with a new layout that allows for the inclusion of web accessibility guidelines.

The website was developed in accordance with the W3C – World Wide Web Consortium, the international community that develops web standards, and accessibility is proven through testing with the most widely used programs for accessibility for people with visual and hearing impairments, using Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Safari browsers.

The content on all pages was created to facilitate user navigation using shortcut keys.

  • Home = Alt + 1
  • Search= Alt + 2
  • Skip Content = Alt + 3
  • Zoom In = Alt + 4
  • Zoom Out = Alt + 5
  • Portuguese = Alt + 7
  • English = Alt + 8
  • Top = Alt + 9
  • Firefox: Alt + Shift + number
  • Opera: Shift + Escape + number
  • Safari e OmniWeb: Ctrl + number

It is also possible to navigate between the links on a given page using the TAB key.
