Offshore Trainee Program (Brazil)

Real training to operate at a high level

Professional learning to work in critical offshore operations with responsibility, safety, and performance.

About the Program

Operating an offshore rig requires much more than technical knowledge.

Constellation’s Offshore Trainee Program was designed to develop professionals capable of working within this real operational context. The program combines more than 500 hours of technical and behavioral training—delivered by Constellation specialists and industry-leading experts—with a carefully structured practical journey that prepares trainees both before and during their offshore experience.

Here, development goes far beyond following procedures. The trainee learns to understand the operational context, communicate clearly, work as a team, and make responsible decisions that directly impact people’s safety, asset integrity, and the continuity of operations.

How training happens

Training in Constellation’s Offshore Trainee Program happens in a structured, progressive, and intentional way, beginning with a preparatory phase—before the onboard experience—and evolving into field operations.

In the preparatory phase, the trainee undergoes an intensive development journey that includes technical training, operational safety content, and human factors, all conducted by Constellation specialists and industry professionals. This stage prepares the trainee to understand the standards, risks, and real dynamics of offshore operations, ensuring readiness before exposure to a highly complex environment.

From this foundation, learning advances to the offshore environment, where the trainee works as an extra professional on board, experiencing the routine of operations, observing critical activities, and understanding how teams maintain safety and efficiency even in challenging scenarios subject to operational variability.

Throughout the entire journey, the program integrates technical training with the development of essential competencies for offshore operations, such as situational awareness, decision-making under pressure, clear communication, and teamwork.

At Constellation, we believe that well-prepared people are the foundation of safe, reliable, and sustainable operations. That’s why development happens continuously—before, during, and after the onboard experience—always guided by responsibility, safety, and operational excellence.
