Constellation launches the Human Factors Journey

Aligned with the company’s new values and the industry trends, the initiative aims to build a new mentality and culture.

In 2023 Constellation took a big evolution step, for both the company and its employees. Entitled Human Factors Journey, this development cycle’s objective is to elevate Constellation to a high level of reliability, aiming to establish safety, resilience, and high performance as its main characteristics.

This Journey, which had started in the second semester of 2023, partnered with Human Energy, under the leadership of renowned Professor and Master of Human Factors, José Carlos Bruno. The workshops, trainings, and mentoring in Human Factors are extended to upper-level management, such as Directors, Managers, Coordinators, Supervisors, among others.

Operational teams are involved in this process as well. Throughout 2024, in parallel with the educational and training events, the guiding principles and governance of the Human Factors Journey will be defined. These guidelines will help promoting the alignment of the new paradigms into Constellation’s management processes and systems, as well as realigning or calibrating the tools and initiatives to build a culture of learning and continuous improvement based on trust and responsibility.

The Human Factors Journey, focusing on systems, organizational factors, and proactive learning, represents an important milestone for the Oil & Gas industry. It demonstrates the company’s pioneering spirit and commitment to adopting high standards of safety, performance, and sustainability, valuing people, and fostering innovation.
